Our current model, v5, is graded on every forecast published before kickoff and on a backtest since 2008; both are on the track record page. For our earlier models, across 144,972 predictions graded against real results, high-confidence picks were correct 62.3 percent of the time on a sample of 3,103. Accuracy across all predictions is lower, because it covers every competition and every confidence level. We publish the full record rather than a selected subset.

Yes. Every prediction is free. Creating an account is free as well: it needs an email address and never a payment method.

You can follow the competitions and teams you care about, so your overview shows only their fixtures and predictions. Your language and time zone are remembered between visits.

Our current model, v5, estimates the strength of every team from past results and match data, and produces one consistent set of probabilities for every market. Earlier models combined several analysers, each scoring one aspect of a fixture: recent form, home advantage, injuries, referee tendencies, venue history and expected goals. No prediction is written by hand.

It reflects how strongly the underlying data separates one outcome from the others. Higher confidence has historically meant higher accuracy, and we measure that relationship continuously rather than assuming it.

Hundreds of competitions worldwide, from major European leagues to national cups and continental tournaments. Coverage depth varies. Competitions with more historical data produce better calibrated predictions than those added recently.

Our predictions are statistical estimates published for information and entertainment. They are not betting advice, we do not accept wagers, and no model removes the uncertainty from a football match. Where betting is restricted by local law, prediction content is withheld automatically.

If you create an account: your name, email address, a hashed password, the country and language detected for your visit, and your sign-in history. Marketing email is a separate and optional choice you can change at any time. You can delete your account and its data yourself from your settings.

StatFooty Pro is an optional subscription that adds a personal feed for everything you follow, match alerts in the app (forecast published, big probability changes, kick-off and full time), a home-screen widget with your next matches, and room to follow up to 50 teams and 20 competitions (free accounts follow up to 10 teams and 5 competitions). Predictions and statistics stay free for everyone.

There are monthly and yearly plans, priced for your country and always shown before you pay. You can subscribe in the StatFooty app for Android through Google Play, where new subscribers get a 7-day free trial, or on the website from your account. One subscription works on the website and in the app with the same account.

You can cancel at any time. A Google Play subscription is cancelled in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. A website subscription is cancelled from your account, under Pro and Manage billing. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.

No. Every forecast, probability and accuracy record is the same for all users and published openly. Pro adds convenience: your feed, alerts, the widget and more follows.
